  1. Working Internet(WiFi) Connection
  2. Chromebook must be connected to the same Network with which your Canon Printer is hooked. 
  3. Your System must have the latest version of Google Chrome Browser.

Setup Process

  1. Turn On both the Computer and Printer. 
  2. Make sure both are securely connected to the same Network. 
  3. Approach the Control Panel of your Printer. Then, bring up its “Home” Menu screen. 
  4. Locate the “Web Server Setup” option. Tap on it. Then, select “OK”.
  5. Now, tap on “Other Settings”. Then, press “OK”.
  6. Next, you should select “Google Cloud Print Setup”. Then, press “OK”.
  7. Thereafter, tap on “Register with Google Cloud Print” and press “OK”.
  8. When prompted to “Register with Google Cloud Print”, select “Yes”.  
  9. On the following window, select your preferred “Language”. Then, press “OK”.
  10. Finally, it seeks your permission for the “Authentication Process”. Make sure your Chromebook Printer is properly loaded with white paper sheets. Then, choose “OK”. 
  11. As a result, an “Authentication URL” will be printed by your Chromebook Printer. Make sure the text is clear. 
  12. Now, select “Yes” when you get the Confirmation Message on the Printer’s Control Panel. After that, wait for 15 minutes to apply the changes. 
  13. Thereafter, approach the Chromebook. Launch Google Chrome on it. 
  14. Next, you should use the “Authentication URL” printed by your Chromebook Printer to access the Online Registration page. 
  15. “Log In” to your Google Account on the following window by entering the accurate Email Address and Password. 
  16. Click “Finish Printer Registration” when you get the Confirmation window.  
  17. Thereafter, wait for the process to complete. Then, click “OK” to conclude the Chromebook Printer Setup

  1. To begin with, launch Google Chrome on your Chromebook which is connected to the Internet. 
  2. Make sure you are logged in to your Google Account associated with the Google Cloud Print Service.

  7. Thereafter, you will get a “Select a Destination” pop-up box. This window provides a list of Devices to execute your Print command. Hence, select your Canon Printer. 
  8. Finally, click on the “Print” button.
